VIN EXPRESS / 01

Auto Parts Warehousing & Inventory

A carton of small components and a bulky body panel need different handling. Build your warehouse brief around the products you hold, how they arrive and how often they move. VIN EXPRESS helps define receiving, identification and inventory requirements before you send stock.

Facility, capacity, product acceptance and service scope are confirmed per proposal.

For parts brands, manufacturers and distributors planning storage and replenishment for their U.S. business.

WHAT WE PLAN WITH YOU

Plan the space around your parts.

01

Receiving and exceptions

Agree arrival references, quantity checks and visible-condition records. Decide how shortages or damaged packaging reach your team before stock is released for orders.

02

Storage and identification

Review packed dimensions, weight, SKU labels and handling needs. Separate fragile finishes or bulky assemblies in the plan so storage assumptions match the product mix.

03

Stock records and review

Define the stock information your team needs, reporting frequency and discrepancy review. Agree how reserved, available and returned items should be distinguished.

FROM BRIEF TO AGREED SCOPE

Make each handoff clear.

  1. Describe the stock

Send a SKU list, quantities and packed measurements. Estimates help start a review of space and handling requirements.

  2. Review the warehouse plan

Discuss receiving rules, stock categories and reporting. Identify product restrictions and information needed before a proposal can be confirmed.

  3. Confirm before shipping

Agree the facility, acceptance, responsibilities and charges in writing. Then align arrival references and instructions with the agreed receiving plan.

SERVICE QUESTIONS

Before you move inventory.

Where will my stock be stored?

The facility, available capacity and coverage are confirmed in your written proposal. Share the destination and stock profile first so the location and operating scope can be reviewed before you arrange a shipment.

Can you work with fragile or bulky parts?

Send measurements, weight, packaging details and handling restrictions for review. Product acceptance and the handling method need agreement. Batteries, liquids and restricted goods require specific review before you send stock.

How are storage charges and inventory reports agreed?

Ask the proposal to state the storage billing unit, receiving charges and any counting or reporting work. Reporting format, frequency and systems are agreed per project; this page does not promise a live inventory integration.
